Karaada is only 2 nautical miles South of Bodrum. The island looks like a mountain and some parts of it are covered with forests. The yachts going on daily tours from Bodrum generally visit this island and since Bodrum is not far.

Island is famous with its healing mineral springs. The water comes out of a cave and the mud from the cave is said to be good for skin conditions.
